TAKE THE TOP · COMMUNITY RULES

Build something worth seeing.

These rules keep the tower useful, public, and fair for everyone who adds to it. Last updated August 26, 2026.

How the tower works

Take The Top is a public, community-built tower. A verified purchase adds one new level at the top. Your level may include a name or business name, a short message, and an optional website link. The tower is designed to preserve contributions as part of its public history.

The price and position shown before checkout apply to that purchase. A temporary reservation only holds the next available level while checkout is in progress; it does not create ownership. A level is added only after Stripe confirms the payment.

What you may submit

You must have the right to use the name, message, and website you submit. Keep every submission accurate, lawful, and appropriate for a general public audience. Website links must use a valid HTTP or HTTPS address and must not require visitors to provide credentials simply to understand what the link is for.

Do not submit content or links that are deceptive, unlawful, infringing, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, malicious, spammy, or designed to steal information, distribute malware, or mislead visitors. Do not impersonate another person or organization, make unsupported claims, or use the tower to promote fraud.

Public visibility and links

Levels are public. Your submitted name, message, level position, purchase date, and optional website link may be visible to anyone and may be indexed, shared, or captured by third parties. If you include a website link, visitors leave Take The Top when they use it. We do not control or endorse third-party websites.

A level is a public display placement, not a promise of traffic, clicks, search ranking, sales, investment, or any other business result. Being surpassed by later levels is part of how the tower works.

Moderation and removal

We may review, hide, edit for clarity, or remove a level or link when we reasonably believe it violates these rules, creates a safety or legal concern, is the subject of a credible complaint, or harms the integrity of the tower. We may preserve records where needed for payments, security, legal obligations, or dispute handling.

Report a concern through the contact form below, or support contact shown during checkout or on your payment receipt. Include the level number and enough detail for us to investigate.
